The multi-dwelling building at the address Mickevičiaus g. 9 is being renovated from Energy Efficiency class D to Class A
In the initially proposed investment plan two projects were introduced to inhabitants – of LTL 722 000 and LTL 1.57 million value. In both cases, only the Energy Efficiency Class C would have beeen achieved. After incorporation of missing solutions following the correction to the investment plan initiated by the National Passive House Association, the estimate did not increase, and even reduced slightly – the measures and works were planned for LTL 1.5 million and Energy Efficiency raising as high as to level A.
The project was developed towards reduction, rather than growth of its value: a project or product the price of which keeps gradually increasing does not add the enthusiasm. Inhabitants, therefore, should demand from investment project porters, in the first instance, to analyse what are the greatest benefits which might be generated by modernisation of a dwelling and how much to invest in order to live comfortably and cost-consciously.
After several meetings with representatives of the National Passive Home Association, representatives of 19 flats participated in voting. 16 voted “for” and 3 – “against”.
It is forecasted that after renovation, even 94 % of heating–cooling energy will be saved in the building at Mickevičiaus g. 9
At present, 467 investment projects are being prepared in Vilnius; 250 multi-dwelling buildings have already agreed with renovation and 170 works contracts were signed. Renovation of 16 multi-dwelling buildings is already completed in the Capital City.
